Diana D Remlinger, MSN, CNP, PMHNP-BC
Compassion, Collaboration & Respect
Diana is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who is dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents and adults. She is a naturally compassionate professional who prides herself on treating every patient as an individual with unique needs requiring a personalized care plan. She sees her role as a combination of scientist, educator, therapist and coach.
Diana’s first career working in the pharmaceutical industry prepared her scientific foundation learning how medicines work. She knows that each person reacts differently to each medication, which is why she believes in genetic testing. Educating patients about their treatable disorders is at the core of her nursing practice. Her life experience and training allow for a collaborative experience aligning with her patients along the treatment process.
Diana graduated from Morehead State University in 1988 with double majors in Spanish and Sociology and later returned to graduate school in 2013 at the MGH Institute of Health Professions graduating with Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as, Masters in Nursing with honors in 2016. Diana is a skilled professional with experience working in substance use disorders, general psychiatry and child/adolescent mental health treatment both in the hospital, as well as, in the community outpatient setting. Today, Diana’s focus is on treating patients 5-60 years of age seeking help for mood disorders, anxiety, substance use disorders, depression and psychotic disorders. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, paddleboarding, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, needlepointing and enjoying time with family and friends.
